“Eolo in El Calafate was superb. The setting, the comfort, the location, and the staff were just wonderful. We were very hard-to-please guests when it came to vegetarian food, and they catered to us with smiling faces every verday” Feedback from: Nayanesh and Reena Shah, USA. December 2013
EOLO Patagonia´s Spirit Lodge, is a unique place in the world that combines the impressive nature of southern Patagonia, an unbeatable location, the scenery, the luxury of simplicity with warm and professional care. The Parque Nacional los Glaciares (Glaciers National Park), home to one of the most striking marvels of the world is only a few minutes away, and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Eolo is part of the Relais & Châteaux collection, listing the most beautiful restaurants and hotels scattered around the world.
Ranked #1 of 71 hotels in El Calafate and Travelers’ Choice® 2013 Winner by Trip Advisor, it offers a unique Patagonian experience, with only 17 rooms, all with stunning views of the Patagonian steppe; its lakes, mountains and glaciers. There are several common areas: two living-rooms, library, TV room, bar, restaurant, heated pool, saunas and massage room.
EOLO’s Lodge cuisine is based on regional typical products combined with the best international techniques, achieving the best gourmet level in the area. The lot where the lodge stands extends to10,000 acres, allowing to fully experience the vastness of Patagonia and enjoy the exclusive activities: trekking, mountain biking or horseback riding.
A “Paradise at the end of the world”, “luxurious simplicity” and “sophistication in the middle of nowhere” are some words that can describe this truly- must- go experience.
When to go? Although you can enjoy the Glaciers all year round, the Eolo lodge is open from September 21st through April 20th.
